My Story
I was raised by my great-grandmother — the one person who showed up for me when my parents didn’t. I watched her try her best every day of my life, and everything I’ve done has always been about giving back to the woman who gave me everything she could.
Growing up, I used to ask her what her dream life looked like. I hoped she’d say something big so I could chase it for her. But her answer was always the same: “I just wish I had my younger body again… so I could move around more and be there for you, because you deserve it.”
Hearing that broke my heart. I knew I couldn’t make her younger, but I wanted to make her life feel easier.
One day, I tried shopping for massage and comfort devices to help her — but everything was overpriced. It didn’t feel right that elderly people had to spend so much just for relief they deserve. So I stayed up all night thinking, “There has to be a better way.”
The next day, I gave my grandmother a simple back massage while she sat in her chair. Within minutes, I saw a tear fall down her face. She told me she usually felt uncomfortable, but this made her muscles relax in a way she hadn’t felt in years. That moment changed everything for me.
I reached out to manufacturers, hoping someone would give me a chance to create something affordable for people like her. After countless rejections, one company finally agreed to help. They had a comfort device that wasn’t selling, so they gave me a small batch to try.
When the first shipment arrived, I handed one to my grandmother. The instant relief on her face made me feel like I had already fulfilled my purpose. She cried happy tears, and so did I. She couldn’t believe I went through all of this just to help her.
That’s when it clicked:
If I could bring that much relief and joy to the most important person in my life, I could do the same for thousands of other elderly people who are hurting, overlooked, or forgotten.
My brand exists because comfort shouldn’t be expensive.
Relief shouldn’t be a luxury.
And our elders deserve better.
